Carolina Builders & Design is serving as general contractor for this ground-up, dual-brand hotel near I-40 and Union Cross Road in Kernersville. The four-story building spans approximately 49,140 square feet and will deliver 91 guest rooms across the Avid and Candlewood Suites, IHG brands, on a 2.10-acre site.

Our scope covers the full building shell and MEP systems, brand-standard interior finishes, and all associated sitework, parking, and landscaping. As with every hotel project we take on, we're coordinating directly with the ownership group and IHG brand representatives to keep construction aligned with franchise requirements at every milestone.

The project is currently under construction, with our team managing weekly progress reporting and schedule coordination across all trades to keep the opening date on track.
